Powering the Wolseley-Yorkwest Golf Tournament

The Challenge

Wolseley Canada is a leading distributor serving the plumbing, HVAC/R, waterworks, industrial, fire protection and facility supply markets, with more than 170 locations across the country. Its Wolseley-Yorkwest Golf Tournament brings industry partners and peers together for a four-person scramble, networking and a BBQ lunch.

With 144 golfers at Copper Creek Golf Club and a long list of sponsors to recognize, the day needed smooth registration, a well-run shotgun start, a clear run of show and content Wolseley could keep using after the last putt dropped.

The Approach

The project was managed by Reach Agency and our golf platform, The Loop, handling everything from registration to the final content delivery.

Registration. An event landing page and golfer registration, backed by planning calls and timeline management in the lead-up to the day.
Shotgun start. Foursomes and starting holes organized for 144 golfers, so the whole field teed off together for the four-person scramble.
Event management. Tournament logistics, sponsor and vendor coordination, on-site support and scoring, through to the BBQ lunch after the round.
Content production. Professional photography and videography, with two video recaps and 150 photos from the day, delivered for Wolseley’s brand use.
